deep in thought over my stunted outward emotional responses to stressful situations and wondering if it was from childhood trauma, the autism, childhood trauma due to the autism, the brickwork of my past relationships of always trying to be the calm and collected one; all of these thoughts swirl around and coalesce to form an image of a turntable press where the flashing of a vinyl record is cleanly cut away like an apple skin and i smile serenely as the table drops after a full rotation, revealing a clean disc.
