if you want to know how adverse i am to spending money on anything at all possible may i present this dell sk-8115 keyboard i received when i extracted an old vista prebuilt from my parents garage some time in 2009-2010. the keyboard is older than vista and the prebuilt. it is the keyboard im currently typing on and have been using for many many years. of course this is a product photo and on mine the keys have lost most of the texture and are glaringly shiny with very noticeable grooves in the most used keys where my nails have gouged in marks, and of course a good amount of the lettering is way faded and scratched off. thankfully it cleans up easily thanks to keys you can just pop off with a screwdriver which is about the only kind thing i can say about this thing other than "it still works".
