i know it's going to hurt me with the Crashes, but i have a Mighty Need to pour another 40 hours or so into Unexplored.
Unexplored 2 i have complicated feelings about. i do not own it, i've simply seen a Lot of gameplay. as a cool procgen test bed it's incredibly impressive. I also feel in zooming things out from any single adventurer and making the timescale vastly longer you do in fact get more stories out of it. unfortunately the stories are all based around dice rolls and depending on your items or skills you'll get more favorable results. it's more of a long term board game and not all the cool brogue-esqe reactions of various potions getting tossed about.
