the furnace golem is getting there with just the base left to finish. I was hoping to do some miniature diorama type landscaping on this with the wild grass & everything -- have to make a trip to the model shop at some point to get any further.
with the body mostly painted I found out the arms didn't really fit in place so I had to cut the whole upper body open, remove the insides, fix the data, reprint, repaint and reassemble. horrible waste of time but at least the new paintjob is better than my previous attempt.
I bought a couple of new brushes just for this and have already destroyed both of them -- if anyone knows how to make a synthetic brush last, please share the wisdom!
