the robot game is good so here i am, trying to make sense of zmodeler.
After several failed attempts i managed to get one Astel printed in full. Once again my sworn enemy clear resin had every possible issue; shrinking, warping, discoloration and sticking to the fep. The less than perfect translucency at least helps hide some imperfections.
Splitting the body further to ten sections & scaling the whole thing down by 10 % solved most issues with the print. What was supposed to be a quick & simple kit ended up with 27 parts & a lot of clean up.
On the bright side the keys turned out pretty nice! The grey parts in the photos are just stuck on without any kind of adhesive.
