Jafar is a paper-thin caricature. He is bossed around by the Aflac duck. He only becomes interested in marrying Jasmine when his animal sidekick says it will make him Sultan, but after becoming the Sultan he's still after her because that's how Conrad Veight behaved in The Thief of Bagdad. (To be honest, most of this film is a retread of the 1940 Korda film.)
Robin Williams spends like 40% of his screen time in drag.
A Whole New World is legitimately a great song. It's also the only good song in the film. There's ... a lot of songs.
The film's accuracy on jinn is about what you'd expect.
