so i have noticed a very specific use of the word "spicy": both my tattoo artist and my laser hair removal tech use it to describe that intermediate stage of hurt where you don't want to complain that it hurts but you've definitely started to notice it. They don't want to ask if it hurts because if they do that sounds like maybe an indicator that something's wrong, but they know it does hurt, so they say:
"Getting a little spicy there, huh?"
Anyway I just think it's neat 🥔
