Do you take in any media (music, shows, movies) while you draw? Whats your ideal environment for creating art?
i do draw when i'm unengaged with a film (see: series of 6 or so comps i did while watching Jeanne D a while ago lol), but if it's good stuff i end up pretty engrossed. at most i'll take text notes during films i like
i do listen to music lots while i work, usually instrumental jazz fusion things if i need to do cognitive work and get ideas going, and sometimes lyrical work if i'm just working through a predetermined process that doesn't take much thought
ideal environment is in my room tbh, cozy and has all my things and nice bay windows and i go can make tea and food whenever i want 🌞
