receipt is the odd one out, somehow.
it ought to bother you, because the "p" in receipt is totally fake. it along with the "b" in "debt" and other bullshit came from a period when nerds were inserting fake silent letters into English spellings to retcon their etymologies to vaguely related Latin words https://www.vaguelyinteresting.co.uk/why-is-there-a-b-in-subtle/
