ignore the thumbnail. there's energy shots with kratom in it that doesn't make it clear it's addictive and is advertised as a sober alternative to alcohol.

and this guy along with deep diving it, does the gonzo journalist tactic of taking the drug cocktail and filming and documenting the process

I'm not in favor of making drugs illegal but it's truly reckless how companies have been marketing Kratom in the same breath as CBD (I'm look at you: CBD Kratom Dispensary). It is addictive and if you're going to use it to manage your chronic pain you need to be careful. Kratom addiction has messed up people I know who thought it was this like super safe and legal pain killer with no downsides because of the marketing.

does anyone else feel like some of the comments on that video are botted? the amount of comments claiming that kratom is 'not addictive' etc etc and how it actually helped them break free from addiction etc. i dont want to invalidate real peoples experiences but its definetely surreal seeing plenty of comments talking about how great this drug is really with lots of likes and replies while comments about how it ruined their life etc etc are pushed under, on a video about how this drug is incredibly addictive.

some people are less prone to opiate dependence than others, some people are taking what they think is kratom but isn't, and some people want to push a legal addictive suppliment with a 7 hour period until withdrawl starts hitting and you need to buy more of the expensive legal product at no risk to the seller who botted all the comments.

the Sacklers would be jealous, insurance can't negotiate down kratom prices like they did oxy
