Where I am right now is by no means "worker owned" but myself and my coworkers are in a unique position where we're mostly left alone to work. We have a 'head' of our little- I don't know, area? But I see the guy on the regular and text him if I need anything.
Most of what we get complaints about is for the sake of company metrics and little details that may, hypothetically (read: never) be graded on.
Hell, I can't tell you how many times the guys have had my back because I forgot to eat anything substantial that day and I'll leave for a definitely unapproved semi-lunch.
It's gonna be whiplash having to grovel to a manager when I leave, but I don't make enough money here sadly.
