OK so this is gonna be a long shot here: does anyone remember a collaborative project on DeviantArt called "Bridgeport"?
If memory serves Kory Bing of Skin Deep fame started it along with another artist. It followed a similar premise to that comic but people would design OC's that had to disguise as humans during the day/in public. A pair of vampires that worked as EMT's. Stuff like that.
