Genuinely researching out of curiosity. Trying to find the genesis of this. Is this all hypothetical and people are just repeating the last person's concerns?
Like I saw 'dyslexia' as an example in there. I'm dyslexic. It took a lot of time to learn to read and write again when I was younger and I still misread shit. If it really, truly bothered me I could mute or block that person.
so it generally feels like its a disagreement over whos entitled to read posts i think. i post in yingletspeak on all my public posts cause its just how i think, and im not willing to tag every single one of my posts for a few reasons
but the other side feels like posting on this website is Content, and by posting anything here its automatically designed for them to consume, so im being ableist by not tagging my posts about going to the shops for being hard to read
theres extra layers like us making loads of translation tools that everyones mad at us for, cause it shifts responsibility on the reader, but that feels like the crux of it
