I didn't want to copy the entire screen here but the source is claiming something like 690,000 people were executed on fabricated claims because Stalin kicked puppies or whatever.

Here's the kicker though: That author writes alternative history. That book is literally fiction. To give you an idea of their background; the lion's share of their work is fiction and they've been 'consulted' about the Cuban Missile Crisis by such reputable sources as "the Military channel".

Apparently they won an Emmy for making a website you could mess with some related multi-media stuff leading up to the film.

Between this and Tiananmen Square footage being edited to imply the guy got killed and counting the Wehrmacht in the "victims of Communism", the proverbial well is poisoned in terms of information.

I've heard people claim that many Communist country was not "Socialist" but if I'm reading correctly they mean it's not Socialist in that it achieved the end goal.

Let's be honest for a minute and say true moneyless, classless Communism/Socialism isn't going to happen unless Capitalism doesn't have control over the world.

You can see how all this is confusing though, right? Even in posting this I'm not sure if I'm using those two right or if one's more general and the other is the means to get there with a Vanguard party etc etc.

Just some clear, concise terminology would help tremendously in explaining everything.
