Someone was talking about The King in Yellow being called "Lovecraftian" despite it being written by Robert Chambers and they made a brief mention of another author that inspired him but I can't remember their name for the life of me.
I think I read it as a woman's name but it's a coin toss with my memory and reading comprehension at times.
