Had a old memory surface. It's probably broken as hell but a while ago in some branch of /tg/ replacing human bits with metal ones was actually considerably beneficial. I don't think there was much offensive capability, but it was definitely a passive defense or health thing.
Many people going the Sundowner/Terminator route, basically.
I haven't played SS13 in a while period but I kinda hope there's still robotics like that and not just Hulk.
In theory I suppose Goonstation has the material science stuff, but by the time you get the materials to pump those numbers the shift is over.
