SQRT can dance now! Check it out: https://synthriderz.com/models/avatars/168
Disclaimer that I'm extremely new to 3D modeling (and Synth Riders for that matter) so this is probably far from the best work, but. It does function! Learned a lot doing this, thanks for the inspiration and the neat little dude @masklayer :)
reposting this one because I was working on it right before the announcement and it didn't get seen much (and as simple of a thing as it is, I spent a decent chunk of time on it and selfishly want people to pat me on the head and tell me I did okay :P)
also if anyone who actually Knows Stuff about Unity, Synth Riders, or VRM models at large can point me in the right direction as to why the model flickers in-game I would really appreciate it! I've tried a few things (different shaders, shader settings, texture maps, etc) but this problem exists both on SQRT and on another VRChat model I ported over. It only happens in the desktop window and not the headset, so it doesn't effect gameplay but would be a problem if you wanted to stream. Wondering if it has something to do with my setup rather than the model, but it doesn't happen if I use any of the game's default avatars. EDIT: never mind, it *does* happen with default models too and I somehow just missed it before. must be my setup
