a Cohost feature I would like is if it included an RSS reader. it's a pretty big feature! but with the upcoming following view, and the general way people write blog length posts on here, it feels like it would make sense to me. it fits with the userbase, it provides a reason to use Cohost even if you don't already know people on Cohost. it also fits with the philosophy of not trying to be the only website, but part of a whole ecosystem of web content.
but if I was in charge of Cohost I would absolutely not do this any time soon. instead I would deprioritise almost everything except tipping, and then later, user subscriptions. Cohost running off an extended line of credit is cool, but Cohost being independently financially viable would be powerful.
