aside from the aforementioned affection towards snakes, i also hold a great deal of fondness in my heart for hollow knight (i am extremely normal™ about collector), rain world (miros birds are the best creature i will not be accepting criticism on this), command and conquer red alert 2 (kirov reporting), in stars and time (one must imagine sisyphus stuck in a time loop), and about a million other things.
i played through slay the princess and spent the whole game pretty much completely ignoring her in favor of dicking around with the narrator (there is no good ending because the narrator always dies) and the voices (contrarian is the best one), which probably says a lot about me (i am aromantic asexual (this will not stop me from rebugging horny™ shit that i am tangentially interested in)).
fuck it i'm a girl now (still he/they tho)
i also like to draw and make games & shit.
I love love love your Superman comics. They're so lovely!
Buhuhuh thank you so much!! ❤️ they're so fun to make, it's such a rich world to pull from.
love this. it's the kind of thing that makes superman feel compelling to me in the first place — seeing and taking any opportunities to be kind and helpful as clark kent in ways that can feel as meaningful as any superman moment. brilliantly put together, too — the dim, soft purples work so well here.
That's a nice way to put it! Clark vs Supes help others in different but still similarly meaningful ways ❤️ thank you so much! I really wanted this comic to still feel bright even though the setting is very late-office hours.
I think you're one of the rare authors to show why Clark exists, why he didn't become Superman full time: a demigod space alien can't help in the quiet ways or have friends.
Aww thank you! In Superman the Animated Series he talked about how being Clark grounds him, and how being supes all the time would mess with his head. I think about it a lot!
This is so lovely 💜 As a dyslexic writer and artist it's so nice to feel seen about how hard it can be. Also how asking for help can be hard and not always an option as well as how people percieve you. I've gotten so many rejections from publishers bc of my dyslexia related writing issues. I'm grateful to have a supportive partner who helps me now and I am glad Lois has Clark Kent to help her too 😊
Thank you so very much! I'm so glad that part of the comic resonated so well. I can imagine all those rejections make trust a difficult thing, so I'm glad you've found someone supportive!
