i like snakes and a free palestine

aside from the aforementioned affection towards snakes, i also hold a great deal of fondness in my heart for hollow knight (i am extremely normal™ about collector), rain world (miros birds are the best creature i will not be accepting criticism on this), command and conquer red alert 2 (kirov reporting), in stars and time (one must imagine sisyphus stuck in a time loop), and about a million other things.
i played through slay the princess and spent the whole game pretty much completely ignoring her in favor of dicking around with the narrator (there is no good ending because the narrator always dies) and the voices (contrarian is the best one), which probably says a lot about me (i am aromantic asexual (this will not stop me from rebugging horny™ shit that i am tangentially interested in)).
fuck it i'm a girl now (still he/they tho)

miscellaneous assorted hollow knight and rain world headcanons of varying levels of absurdity

  • the godseeker was stuffed in the sarcophagus by collector
  • humans exist in the hollow knight world, but are extremely rare
  • lurien is a human
  • the void sea in hollow knight connects to the void sea in rain world
  • there are multiple recorded instances of some very confused mole lizard/scav/centipede finding its way into the abyss as a result
  • at some point, collector just. dumped a shitload of infection into the void sea to see what happened, and that's what the slime mold in shaded citadel is
  • specifically: slime mold is essentially lobotomized infection, its trip through the void sea destroying its connection to the radiance, rendering essentially harmless, as once ingested, it just kinda. sits in the stomach, awaiting a directive it will never receive
  • even after the radiance is dead, the collector still just. has. like 20 jars filled with nothing but infection, for absolutely no discernable reason whatsoever it's just. sitting there. doing nothing. just. why
  • in general, my brain just kinda. scans collector as this unpredictable agent of chaos and random terrible ideas
  • yellow lizards are able to influence infected creatures
