so, the narrator's influence on the world is limited to his ability to convince you & the princess of things, right?
like, when the door closes on you in chapter 1, it happens because he describes it happening and you don't think to question him
and in the wraith, the princess actively calls him out on doing this, and in doing so, we can see his attempts to influence the world being refuted in real time
and throughout the entire game, there's only one real exception i can think of to this rule (the mirror doesn't count), during the stranger route
