failed a coding assessment for a prospective job and the feedback I got back about it is. um. you cannot possibly accurately judge those things in a TWO HOUR challenge that was that jam packed. yeah my code wasn't clean because I had NO TIME TO CLEAN IT UP (which I mentioned in a comment). yeah my product design sucked because 40min is not enough time to properly digest a design doc and then make good technical decisions, while also having to answer random questions about it??? good lord. it wasn't even scored by the same company that I was interviewing for, I don't think they even got to see my work. just that I failed and the vague feedback.
