I recently bought a Japanese book from 2005 on how to make a blog.
It describes how you can even make money from blogs by having affiliate links, and how some people can make a living doing this. Then it compares making a blog to the modern-day equivalent of buying a lottery ticket - people do it for fun and put a small amount of money into it themselves, and some people just get really lucky and rich as a result.
I never really thought of it that way before.
tried playing Ni no Kuni on PC Game Pass, but it was really weirdly buggy. All of the controls on the screen showed up as VK_SomeRandomNumber, and it was also making my computer chug for some reason. Really sucks cuz I really want to get into a JRPG, but this just isn't the one.
Ah well. It's really pretty though
I'm prioritizing another non-game project of mine right now...

see this is funny cuz i used to really like bluesky, and now I kinda hate it. It's just... kinda icky to use after a while. Doesn't help that people keep doing callout posts to each other for some reason
