I cannot imagine a universe in which me calling a kan does anything but punish me.
Statistically it's not really a smart play but it pays off just often enough that the allure is always there.
at least in mahjong soul? monkey see kan button, neuron activate, too pretty and juicy to NOT click.
I say that doing a kan is a bad idea but at the same time I will double-foot jump right onto that rake
It's really a pain when you've got a setup that uses all four tiles but not for kan, and every turn Soul is like "KAN NOW PLEASE???"
