Oh this is a good one!

The eye is immediately drawn to the monster lair, but then there's also the bizarre staircase that's cut off by the ceiling. How do you get down that? Backwards on your hands and knees? Plenty of opportunity to be snatched up by grabbing claws.

Husband and I are shopping around for houses and it's always fun to see a nice one and then be like "oh, haunted basement! Spooky shed! Monster closet! ...This whole house is haunted."

One of the houses we went into had a piano and we told Brother in Law and he's like "it was probably haunted" while Husband was like "I'm not saying it's haunted, but maybe we could bring some sage in..." and I'm like "why do both of you default to "it's haunted!"?" I actually have an irrational fear of buying a haunted house but that's probably because I'm into horror. I think the chances are low...but they're probably not zero >.<

something about the "let's eat" sign + abundant pears combo makes me feel very unsettled. i don't really want to eat a pear, is the thing, but it feels less like an invitation and more like a curse
