trans and gay and enjoying it

I write about cars for a living and I take photographs to stay alive. Expect to see a lot of photography here.

sometimes I post nsfw images of my body. I tag them as adult content, but this is not a purely professional account - this is where I am myself.

For Slashgear, a discussion of the convergence of electric cars, and how BMW has aesthetically and technologically differentiated the new i7 in a crowded market (also, all of my own photography);

For InsideEVs, an examination of drivetrain and feel, a little less about the attitude.

This is my first time writing two separate reviews for two different audiences of the same car; hopefully, I did a good job. (The Slashgear one is actually my favorite because it's written in a much more "me" tone, but I did my best with both.)

Your photos nicely show the design, but your description of the M spec in the slashgear review really nails it.

I'm kind of excited to see the new wave of EVs with more aggressive designs, because seeing only teslas on the street got a bit boring.

I was so fucking disappointed when the EQS came out. the damn thing is a wireless mouse with gamer LEDs; there is simply zero sex appeal in the damn car. it is meant to reassure the buyer they are Smart for choosing it. Fuck smart. I want to feel like a bad bitch; the i7 is the first electric car that does that

these are really good! this one likes the slashgear one too; it paints a picture of the totality of the experience.

on the car itself: the trend of using capacitive buttons and touchscreens for everything can’t end soon enough. it reminds this one of the period in the early to mid 00s when every european car had a million buttons and a dial pad in the center stack. after fighting with touchscreen only climate controls for the last few years (thank you Volvo) it’s a relief to get into one of our other vehicles that still has actual buttons. while the interface got faster when moving from Sensus in the previous car to Android in the C40, it’s no less distracting to use.

I really did like the touchscreen OS at least, but yes, this is actually one of the better cars as far as leaving buttons goes. the Mercedes EQS I'm pretty sure has almost none. It's disappointing but it seems to be the 1) trend that Chinese buyers seem to want (or western companies think they want) and 2) makes it easier to software-lock features for subscription services

loooooooooooooove these 😍 slashgear is easily stronger ("environmentally-friendly dominatrix"? no contest) but i enjoyed how you nerded out on the battery features on insideEVs!! deeply cool car. it's like almost perfectly sexy except i'm way too much of a neurotic bitch on climate and i think the screen management would drive me insane to the point where i'd lose my cool lol

aw thank you!!! yeah that was literally my favorite line I've written in a while, haha. the climate control is definitely kinda rough but honestly so many cars don't have physical controls now, it's hard to be too rough on it for that.
