perfect! I haven’t been doing them at any specific time, mostly just “when I remember to”, but hopefully they’re spaced out enough they’re just a nice little bit of flavor to the Chosting Experience
Aww I’m glad!! I just hate to like, crowd out everything else. This isn’t really meant to be Instagram - it just works so much better for photo sharing than Instagram ever did lol
Honestly yes though—I love talking about the photos I take, for one thing! But also, the fact that I can get a nice "soup experience" on here with art photos, essays, jokes, people's baking photos, craft posts, and random thoughts is so nourishing.
aww you should find some more!! I’ve been doing tag searches for things like “photography” or “automotive” (or “latex” 🥺) and I’ve found a bunch of great people that way. Feels like a good way to rebuild a network where only a few of my friends are on it yet.

once a day seems to be the vibe; makes it a fun little routine for me (I already have tomorrow's, another 2021 shot I never edited, picked out and thought about) and it seems to not be overwhelming people's feeds, so I'm happy if everyone's happy! the big thing is I don't want to be a "content creator" as much as I want people to be like "oh cool a vicki post"

a thing I've been trying to do more of is exactly what you're describing - going back through my photo backlog of things that have sat abandoned on a hard drive (this of course gets obscured by taking new photos I get excited about) that I don't think I ever would have prioritized prior to cohost.
Plus your writing / thoughts about each photo are super inspirational so yea, pls keep it up lmao
It's been nice seeing the daily photos, and reading the background behind them. One a day certainly doesn't feel too frequent, though more than one of these per day might be.
