a couple months out from the group star wars watch now and i'm still kind of shocked by how effectively it has left my body. like. i went into it really liking the original trilogy, and admitting that while the prequels are fucking boring and incomprehensibly bad, the bad parts are really fun and the payoffs are worth the price of admission. and the force awakens was a cool foot forward, and the last jedi was really, really thoughtful. and then the rise of skywalker/solo one-two punch was like. the most effective way to purge any potential caring about star wars you could imagine. i feel like i understand people who care about star wars even less having seen all of the mainline movies now
