hihi~~

i've been fairly quiet here but now seems a relevant moment to point out i run a smalltime indie games forum for creating devlogs modelled after 'glory days' tigsource. the sites been around a bit over a year now and my plan has always more-or-less been to start and stay small with it - shockingly easy for a forum in 2024 turns out - but if you're trying to figure out a decent place to maintain being able to talk about a game (or really whatever creative project) that is still partially social i'd appreciate giving it a look over.

i definitely wanna stress that the site is focused on discussion between devs or creatives and there aren't really any elements geared towards 'growth' or building an audience. the format of forums as a whole just really isn't suited for it! i really want the site to stand out and be useful on its own so there is no ancilarry discord or IRC for the coommunity, either. i have a few more detailed statements about the site's goals and how it fits into a dev cycle in both the about and faq

i dont have any sort of grand plans for how the site is going to be the next big platform or anything - i just genuinely miss devlogs as a format and wanted at least one site around that's suited to them. like i said things are pretty small (lurking is the natural state of any forumgoer) but i try to engage with everything that i see, personally. so in that regard you'd be doing more of a personal favor to me by checking things out...

some of the more standout threads:

legend has it that there are even runes and symbols you can insert to make your text wiggly and wavy like a real indie game :)
