I just tried to create a new box for all my Bandcamp-related emails in Gmail and uh.... you can't anymore? It's been my "who gives a shit"-spam account for years so I haven't doodled around with the tools in YEARS and YEARS, granted, but the provider for my "serious" e-mail account is kicking me off so I have to move some stuff over. And... just going by intuition and light skimming of documentation, there's no way to create a separate folder and point everything from bandcamp dot com over that-a-way? Hell, I can't even re-access the old pre-existing "offers/social media/etc." boxes unless I enable "personalization" for Mail, Meet and Chat. Best I can do, seemingly, is set up a separate tag for Bandcamp, have every incoming relevant mail be tagged that, and then automatically archived so they don't clutter the main mailbox.
And like I am asking, really exasperated, Why The Fuck
update: some folks elsewhere have told me that it has probably always worked like this and I just didn't know, in which case I would like to add the corollary that if fucking Outlook is kicking your ass on UI design its nothing to be proud of
