Moisturize me, MOISTURIZE ME
My life and goals were so much more clear half a year ago. So many plans, so many ideas. I was in a state of euphoria, I felt indestructible. I paused my YouTube channel in 2021 so I could work on this stuff and revamp my channel into something spectacular, and I was finally so close to having something tangible. Then in seemingly a day everything crashed down around me.
I had to pause work because of crazy life stuff, I accepted other commission work that sidetracked me and threw me off balance, all the sites I was trying to use for two of my biggest life projects took a shit on their users, and now I feel like a ship lost at sea with social media spread all across the internet. Artists talk about how this will affect them negatively, meanwhile creators like me never even got the chance to build something.
I guess that's why I love Cohost, and why I think creators are making a mistake choosing other sites over it. Whenever I pull myself back together, this will be my primary place to post my projects. Even if there aren't as many people here as there should be to see it. Out of every social media site I've seen thus far, including Tumblr, this seems like the most creative friendly. Hopefully more people see that and stop flocking to these corporate, algorithm-obsessed crypto corners
