it's fast, it's easy, and it's cheap

what

  1. purchase a bottle of coconut oil. if you have an indian grocery store nearby you can get one there for fairly cheap; i dunno if regular grocery stores sell them for equally cheap but don't spend extra for organic stuff or whatever
  2. massage it into your scalp. better yet, ask someone you're close to if they'll do it, and offer to do it for them in turn. my mother used to do this for me and my biosister & it was always very nice
    • you may need to briefly melt the coconut oil if it's winter. pour a bowl of hot tap water and drop the bottle in for 10-15 minutes and that should do it
  3. leave it in for a while. minimum thirty minutes but it works best overnight (throw a towel on your pillow)
  4. shower and wash the oil out with shampoo and conditioner

why

  • it makes your hair smell nice
  • it does incredible things for your hair texture. it will look luxurious and rich
  • it's fast, it's easy, and it's cheap
  • i speak from personal experience when i say it really works wonders on getting girls and nonbinary people to find you attractive. no experimental data on boys but in theory it's equally effective on them

a caveat

i tried this on @cass and she says it wasn't as good to her hair. your mileage may vary if you're white. i encourage you to experiment and report back

i've only just started again after several years of not doing so. my mom did it once every few months when i was young, but i'm probably gonna try and make it a once-every-couple-of-weeks thing. i imagine it'll probably be less frequent in the winter and more so in the summer given coconut oil's tendency to freeze
