going through gba sonic game osts you can really tell how much they improved over time in terms of working with the gba sound chip
the sonic advance 3 ost is so much more complex and nuanced than advance 1 and the time the team put it to learning how to use that thing really paid off. if you told me those soundtracks were built made for two different generations of handheld i would believe you
