Like I said in the last one, I have always loved the Sneasel line. I really fell in love with Weavile when Pokken Tournament came out - I loved its fast and tricky playstyle. I spent hours grinding out Weavile games, I used it exclusively in story mode, I even made my trainer a black and red winter outfit so we would match. I have never been very good at fighting games, so I eventually quit playing Pokken, but my love for this little ball of cold violence and malice has never faded. Despite its many weaknesses in the main series, Weavile remains my #1 favorite Pokemon. It's a shame I never got around to using it when it was good during Sword and Shield VGC lol

I was a real goody-two-shoes as a kid. When my friends would shoplift candy or makeup I was aghast, just completely shocked that anyone would do such a thing. Not to mention the times when other kids tried to steal stuff from me, like my GBA SP or my copy of Phantasy Star Online... But there was at least one thing that I stole as a kid - something I couldn't bear to give back...

I had a friend in my neighborhood named Crystal when I was like 8 or 9. We didn't go to school together, we just met probably at the community pool or something, I don't remember. But we were fast friends. I went over to her house to hang out all the time. I remember we watched the Tigger movie together and sang the songs, we watched some of the Pokemon anime - I remember watching the Ditto episode with her very clearly. We played lots of games and had so much fun. She let me borrow her copy of Dragon Warrior Monsters for the Gameboy Color. She said I could start a new game but I had to give it back when I got to the Golem (the second boss of the game), but I loved it so much. DWM became maybe my favorite Gameboy Color game... I remember she asked me to give it back and I lied and told her, "But I haven't made it to the Golem yet!" Even though I had already beaten the Golem and the Facetree and the MadCat... Crystal had to move away shortly after that. Maybe that's why she wanted her game back so bad, but maybe that's also why I felt like I had to keep it. Yeah the game was good, but I also wanted something to remember her by...

So yeah, I stole a copy of Dragon Warrior Monsters from a good friend. I hope she didn't hate me for it - I hope she understood. I missed her for a long time after that. Having a friend move away is always hard, doubly so when you're so young... Sometimes I wonder what her life is like and if she remembers me too. If I ever met her again somehow, maybe I'd even give it back who knows lol.
