Tomorrow's Promise (they/them) and Tomorrow's Problem (she/her), two former NEH soldiers in Rose River who are siblings. Promise is the older sibling, and was always the golden child. Before going on sleep detachment, they never let themself be anything other than their parents' perfect "son."
Their parents always saw Tomorrow's Problem as a troublemaker, but the truth is that she was neglected by her parents and teachers until she dropped out of high school. Promise was the only one who was there for her, but with all of the honors homework and extracurriculars they were involved in the truth is that even they didn't have enough time for her. She looked up to them anyway, and whenever they were together it was impossible to separate them.
