The Great King Virtue is Dead!

a plural system of at least three. we are timbre (he/him), cadence (she/her), and ambie (idk :3). this is timbre speaking; im the only one who has ever posted on this account, for the record, but we would differentiate ourselves by the post background should one of the others post. i am a writer, musician, and photographer. you can find my works on my website. im also infamously an avid fan of the old web, and websurfing in general (i use marginalia search for that). feel free to talk to me about tech, old web shit, networking, and any of the various fandoms im involved with. (my pfp and wallpaper are both from the game corru observer, by the way)

Now... Behold! Opinions I have and things I like represented with several tiny animated images in my profile! They are links, please go and click on them as soon as possible:

theres a lot to be said for the beautiful symbolism and imagery in how sleep token describes romantic longing / obsession and the special kind of desperation that comes from it, but above all else its just really strange to listen to such visceral descriptions, between the suffocating isolation described in “High Water” and the destructively insatiable desire portrayed in “Vore”, of a concept that is completely foreign to me. it feels almost like getting a glimpse of our world how an alien species see it. i honestly feel like my aromanticism brings about an even deeper appreciation for the lyricism than i might have had i been able to relate to the portrayed feelings to any extent. are there any other aromantic fans of the band (or frankly any romantically oriented artist) who have had similar experiences?
