alright then. i use hashed IPs. only stored in memory while you look at the image, i never get to see the hash, nor the plain IP myself. (i was near the end of the implementation when i realized that i totally could just slap a session cookie on there. will do for my next mjpeg thingy because this kinda sucks)
ahh, right! that makes sense, and I appreciate your efforts to ensure some privacy even for this kind of toy! :)
the cool thing about your way is that you can use curl in the terminal and it changes on the browser
