Yeah the XM25 was considered pretty good just overcomplicated and prone to breakage if you, say, aren't getting new parts :) Supposedly guys didn't like giving up a rifle to use it though, and it was a bit of a disaster to lug. Can see why it didn't work out given how extremely ridiculous the grenades were-- if not for the smart fuses, iirc they would have cleared the minimum 400g.
