yeah he comes out pretty positive on it as well, beyond the weirdness of a mug that requires firmware updates, some UI complaints, and the marginal utility of a Smart Mug for this rather than just a heater puck you can set a dumb mug on

Ok as much as I hate this kind of tech I nurse coffee and tea over several hours so "drink stays perfect warmth" is an incredible concept
if you've got a desk job, he points out in the video that you can get a little USB puck that sits on your desk and keeps your drink warm for about half the price, so that might be worth a look!
