oh yeah, it was universally beloved back in the '90s and '00s so that wouldn't surprise me
I never really baseballed back then and yet this is still familiar, dang
note: the blue background with the rotating mariners logo and the baseballs flying across the corner is the screen that would display while the anchors were running down the list of broadcast sponsors, and they would usually cut away to footage from the field before the still frame of the logo started
