Sounds suspiciously like someone did a straight conversion from 200 mL without overthinking it.
not that you're wrong, but the phrasing of letting ramen "steep" is intensely amusing to me
there's also Vite Ramen for a similar concept, nutritionally complete ramen haha
I bought several bags of Huel recently because I wanted to get some easy convenience foods that would also supply more vitamins and nutrients than most such foods. So I bought myself a bag of the cajun pasta, mexican chili, chik'n & mushroom, and mac & cheeze. The only one I disliked to a 'would rather not eat this' level was the mac & cheeze. Everything else I thought was decent for instant food fare. My personal favorite is the chili, but the cajun pasta is my second favorite.
yeah, I've seen a couple people suggest that they tried the "healthy mac and cheese" hack of trying to use tomato flavor to get the savoriness of cheese without the calories, and that it reminded them unpleasantly of throwing up, which rang of truth enough that I was planning to stay away.
glad to hear the chicken & mushroom is pretty okay as well, though! I was interested in that one.
The mac and cheeze didn't remind me of throwing up, but I could taste the coconut too strongly in that one which is not what I want to be tasting when I eat mac and cheeze. I've had a lot of non-dairy mac and cheese (eg. from Daiya and the non-dairy Annies variety) in the past, and those all taste fine to me, but the Huel one just didn't work for me flavor-wise.
