- the largest, beardiest guy on the staff won it;
- the other one seemed legitimately disappointed that he wouldn't get to (at least for work)
also dying laughing that his brilliant strategy to salvage his pink and blue cotton candy-colored beard when he was walking around in public afterward was to paint it red and blue instead, draw a lightning bolt in it, and pretend to be a middle-aged deadhead
