got a filament dryer today (a $40 SUNLU Filadryer S1 Plus) and started printing some PETG directly out of it, and I finally understand how people can use PETG as a practical medium without shit-talking it for being a gloopy, unprintable mess

I got a S1, not plus. It's ridiculous how much of an effect drying can have. Transparent filaments are still a challenge to make look good by their nature, but they no longer look like trash by default.
