Well if Aaron Parecki's stuff leads you to his employer's software (Okta), I'll just say that is the suite I'm most familiar with.
this is because oauth is actually a fucking sham
it's all just spicy basic auth if tls is out of the picture
hahaha yup, I had to figure out some OAuth/OIDC stuff for work recently and ended up just reading the standards documents because nothing else would actually explain anything I wanted to know (:
