bought a raspberry pi zero for the first time, to use in a project I've been putting off for months because I didn't want to write microcontroller firmware, and while I don't know what I was expecting packaging-wise and I gotta admit this does get the job done, I don't think I was expecting "anti-static bag with the URL of the user manual printed on the back, floating around loose in a mailing envelope"
anyway more on that project coming soon I guess
How did you manage to grab one? I thought they were also just as hard to get as base models.

you can also find 4s in stock on and off, if you're not too picky about a particular SKU
ahh ok, I was assuming you'd grabbed a zero 2, I've actually got 4 of the original zero w's, but they're all 32-bit so getting modern software to work with them has sometimes been a pain, especially on the toolchain side of things 😅
yep! thankfully not planning on doing any super heavyweight software stuff with this guy, just want SSH and a python REPL
