We need more old ladies in animation I think. They always deliver.

The thing that made me check out this specific animation was the usage of white outlines in dream sequence, which creates a real striking look and is a clever way to distinguish reality and dream world while making it pop.

Something that also surprised me was the fact this has voice acting in it- I assumed it would have none as is the case with many PRL era animation but I got jumped with Julian Tuwim's poem! I can't recall if I brought him up before but Tuwim is, along with Brzechwa, the most famous polish writer of children poetry. I recommend doing some reading on him, he was a very fascinating man.

Stefan Szwakopf also had interesting career, with him working on such classics like animated series about Koziołek Matołek and Wędrówki Pyzy. He sadly passed away last year.
