i'm jer--- ---kas, and i like sounds and sound-adjacent technologies. that means i don't know if i can post anything on here yet but that's okay, the artists and webtech people are knockin it out of the park.

that thing up there was a very sloppy attempt at making the sound of pouring fizzy water. the idea was that there's a "glug" sound that sounds kind of like a formant sound that goes up in pitch, with some amplitude envelope on it. there's also a "fizz" sound that's kind of a filtered noise thing. it's an interesting idea, but it doesn't sound like pouring liquid at all...not even a little bit!

i also like professional wrestling

i've never used bespoke! i'll have to try it sometime. it looks like it has some similarities to Max/MSP which i tend to use when i want more features than PureData, but i'm sure it has its own thing going on.

I had never used a virtual daw before, but I found it to be really approachable - there's even a "help mode" where there's additional descriptions for like every single button and menu item, which I thought was rad
