my favorite part so far is the one where he reflects on how, because of the way dialup networking worked, all you needed to start a small-scale ISP was a computer, some extra phone lines and modems, and an internet connection

edit to add: I just got to the part where he went into depth about BT deregulation and how a computer retailer squeezed most of the indie ISPs out of the market with freeserve, and now that's my favorite part of the video
