okay so i finished SPY INTRIGUE and i think that is genuinely one of the greatest modern trans narratives and mental illness narratives ive ever read, not to mention just a powerful and painful story in general and an incredible usage of Twine. it's insane that it's not mentioned in the same breath as people talk about Porpentine or Anna Anthropy. the kind of story painful and real and heart-shattering in a way that is affirming and healing because it allows you to see yourself reflected. it's a shame the creator has seemingly dropped off the map; i dearly hope they're doing well.
i'll write about it, but in the interim allow me to share Emily Short's review https://emshort.blog/2019/07/16/the-twentieth-entry/
