its funny that Black Country New Road and Black Midi are friends and have collabed and such bc i do think my ideal version of this indie prog thing would basically be a mixture of the two. The heavier, more chaotic sound of Black Midi plus the more ornate and emotional structures/arrangements of BCNR and then i realize im just reinventing my favorite band again.
